Second act

The cast

Copy anything here. When I build something, I ask who it lets in and who it leaves out. If it left you out, tell me: corwin@bru.st

What this site remembers

Dramatis personae

Who makes this work: the people on the left, the agents' personas on the right. As you scroll, the two columns slide past each other, one up and one down, and when two who work together come level, their cards become one postcard. Who stands where is worked out from who works with whom, not placed by hand.

    Bob

Does system updates on the ghostwheel, the shop's machines, too.

Personas

  1. Persona

    Vibrobeast

The direction of my garden: where things go, what is checked, what leaves. It does not write; Mentat does.

    Directs; never signs

  2. Persona

    Alfred

Who an agent is in Bryant's gardens: the voice, the map of the house and the laws he gave it.

    Signs as Alfred, for Bryant

  3. Persona

    Mentat

The voice Claude models write in, in my part of the shop, and the one used when nothing names another.

Signs as Mentat, for a person, with the model

Who works with whom

No persona is paired with Brigidt yet, so that card gets no postcard.

How this page works

This is the second page of aboutcorwin.com; the first is about me and the places I put my time. It is HTML and CSS that read well with scripts turned off, and the same free scripts as the first page, with licence labels GNU LibreJS can check. Nothing is fetched after the page loads and nothing is sent about you. Your own choices stay in this browser; what this site remembers lists them. The prompt below searches the cards on the first page and takes you to them.

What this site remembers

These pages collect nothing and set no cookies. With scripts on, they remember a few of your own choices, in this browser only; nothing is sent. Each is one key in your browser's local storage:

aboutcorwin.motion
whether you turned the Motion button off or on.
aboutcorwin.customize
your Customize settings: text size, line length and spacing, colours, and reduced motion.

The web server keeps its usual request log: the address that asked, the time, and the page. That log is on the server, not in your browser, and forgetting here does not touch it.
